Alexa's Illustrations offers custom wedding artist services to help capture the unique essence of your clients’ special day. Alexa works closely with stationery experts to create custom illustrations and paintings that perfectly match the event’s theme and printing needs. From invitations to day of and beyond, Alexa’s custom pieces will add a touch of elegance and individuality to every detail of your celebration.

Painted specialties include pet and venue portraits, but also paint focal pieces like crests, monograms, and wedding maps. Most work is custom, so if you or your clients can dream it, I can paint it!
Venue Portraits

Share a preview of the magic your guests will experience by showing them your venue. Set the scene and establish the theme. Available as icon sizes, full portrait sizes, or line illustrations. Your venue art will look amazing in all styles.

Watercolor:
Icon sizes 2”-5” start at $55 and you will receive a digital file of your hand made custom piece and an Art Use License for personal use. Portrait sizes start at $130 and you will receive a framable original portrait and a digital file with an Art Use License for personal use.
Digital line illustrations:
Start at $65 and you will receive a digital file of your hand illustrated piece and an Art Use License for personal use.
Existing Art use licenses are available as well. I may have already painted or illustrated your venue! Licensing prices are based on the size of original painting, but are less expensive than a new commission.

Pet Portraits

What’s a more personal touch than including your four legged family member in the event decor? Pet illustrations are available in both icon and portrait sizes and can be full watercolor or line illustrations.

Crests & Florals

A crest or monogram is the logo for your event. It’s a representation of the couple and can be as custom and symbolic as you’d like. With different levels increasing with complexity (Elegant, Signature, and Ornate), you can customize your piece and cherish it for years to come.
Share your must haves, inspiration, and ideas and you and Alexa will work together to approve the perfect draft to then be painted.

Watercolor crest pricing depends on size and complexity. Portrait sizes start at $125 (4”x6”) and include an original watercolor to frame and a digital file. This also includes an Art Use License. Crests categorized by complexity from Elegant, Signature, and Ornate and price increases by level.
Existing Art use licenses are available as well. I may have a crest available perfect for your event! Licensing prices based on original painting size, but are less expensive than a new commission. Additional cost to adjust colors and add monogram or text. Licenses are non-exclusive.

Maps

Event maps are the MVPs of art and function. From loose floating icons, to a fully detailed map (don’t want your guests to miss that important turn), a wedding map is a gorgeous show stopper piece. Can be watercolor, digitally illustrated, or a combination.

Send to your guests with the invitation, post on your event website, include in the welcome bags, event day program, signage, plus more!

Each map is unique and bespoke. Icon illustrations start at $10 each, digitization and compilation work is $30/hour, and $15 per text label.

Technical Details:
I have over 5 years experience painting for events, so I can make the best recommendations on how big or what size to paint or design a piece.
Paintings are scanned in house at a minimum of 300 dpi. Higher resolution files available for larger bar art, dance floors, banners, and more.
I edit each file to be a transparent PNG file and can color correct and adjust in this step to ensure everything is perfect.
Legal Details:
Art Use License is required for personal events and is in addition to any commission costs. Fees on this page incorporate both commission & licensing, but are subject to change. Don’t worry, I value price transparency and will break it all out.

Art Use Terms & Agreement: Original art created by artist, Alexa's Illustrations. Artist owns the copyright of the piece(s). Permission for personal event use (clients’ names & event date). Not intended for replication, merchandising, commercial branding, distributing as own work, or web publishing. This license is non-exclusive. Vendors permitted to replication within this agreement. Subsequent licenses & applicable fees must be issued for art use beyond these terms.
Artist Credit: Please include Alexa's Illustrations as part of your event's vendor team and credit the artist as applicable on social media and publications.
Licensing can be upgraded to include limited time exclusivity or expanded to include business events, branding, merchandise, and full copyright release for an additional fee. Alexa’s Illustrations retains copyright of each piece of art.
