We are well into 2026, and I’ve already had a busy start! My art has attended 8 events so far (that averages out to one a week) and includes events here in Tulsa, but also as far as Panama! While in the middle of busy season, invites for the summer weddings are in full swing, it’s always a joy to stop and pause to celebrate a notable event.
The Wed Society Oklahoma highlights one wedding a month that makes them stop and say “Wow”!
I’m so pleased that this wedding is one of them! The sweet bride reached out to me about my Mayo Entrance Digital Illustration and it’s so cute to see how she incorporated the design in her wedding crest along with her sweet dogs! Then, a few months later, the Inviting Place reached out requesting the Mayo Building illustration to use as a fun cut out enclosure details card in the invitation suite. A bonus use for the art is a welcome sign at the reception next to the beautiful hotel themed seating chart by Stay Gold Events. The recurring hotel theme is a nod to the bride’s job in hospitality and makes for a chic and elevated theme. The Mayo hotel, beautiful and historic as always was the perfect backdrop.
