Real Wedding: Floral Dreams after an Italian Ceremony

Imagine this, you have your dream wedding ceremony in Italy and upon your return you have a reception in your backyard to celebrate with your friends and family.

The couple wanted to incorporate bright florals, tasty treats, Italian nods, and their kitties. Rain or shine, this outdoor gathering was the perfect day to celebrate their love.

I painted so many elements for this event:

• squiggle pattern used as the envelope liner and on the food bar

• an assortment of lemons painted in acrylic as a nod to Italy

• tons of florals! I was provided an inspiration photo of he colors and types from the couple and painted a variety of florals incorporated on the invitation and the bar art

• mischievous kitties enjoying the celebration: one kitty in a martini glass and one playing with a floral arrangement
